What do I know about cybersafety? Cybersafety is being safe online and not giving out personal information Have I presented material about cybersafety before? I Have done stuff on cybersaftey but not presented it Do I understand what I have to do? Is there anything I don’t understand about this activity? Yes I do understand what I have to do, there is nothing I don’t understand What skills and knowledge will I be using? Poster designs, picture frames gimp features, rotating a image, clear cut adding text.
Identify What is the task?
What do I want to accomplish in creating a poster? A poster that warns people about the danger of some internet sites How do I want to interest others in my topic? Using bright colours Do I want to present an informative poster that can be used as a reference? I want it to look nice and be informative Do I want to present a warning poster that alerts people to danger? I want my poster that is informative but not bossy Or some combination of those goals? I want a combination of all of these What do I need in order to do this? Gimp, laptop, skills own images, proper mouse, word What materials do I have? A Camera What resources do I need? People to take pictures of for my poster Should I do more research on cybersafety? Maybe a little bit Who will be looking at this work? People who have chat websites accounts How can I appeal to other students? By warning them not to create one Are there examples of cybersafety posters or materials that I can look at? Yes ones rounds the classroom What are the obstacles? Finding the people to take the pictures of. What problems may happen? That my computer might not work Can I draw a diagram that will help me to visualise my work?Yes Draw some rough ideas for posters.
Generate How many ideas can I think of?
List as many ideas as possible. What aspects of cybersafety interest me? Online friends that they may not be Safe. What would I want to see on a poster? Colour and interesting text and images Consider the advantages and disadvantages of each idea. Are there any other subjects to consider? Proberly butI like the subject that I have chosen What resources (books, websites, etc.) have I been provided with? The check list already made posters What do other people think about this? Do others think I have a good idea? Yes because i don’t think anyone else is doing the same topic
Decide Which is the best idea?
Which are the best ideas? Prioritise the 3-5 best ideas. Explain your reasons for choosing these. What are the arguments for and against each idea? Don’t trust online friends, don’t give out passwords, credit card numbers are private Which idea is the best one for completing the task? Which idea is best for accomplishing my goal? Don’t trust online friends What is my plan? To do my best work that I can do What are the steps to follow? ·Take pictures. Edit pictures. ·Assemble text and images into poster. ·Review poster and modify as needed.
